First job...Get the van running...install battery and buss bars...
Second Job...Inflate flat tire....
Third Job...Black out back windows
Fourth Job....get van moved into better spot and remove seats...
Fifth Job.....Take final measurements of usable area and begin drafting a cut sheet and maybe get the first layer of the floor cut...
Yeah...That should get me going tommorow...
I'll do my best to take pics as I go...but not of the important top secret parts...lol...

You know someone already has a team darkside.I started it about 3 years ago,along with darkside audio,that was started at the same time.Just thought you might want to know that.
The name was chosen from my buddies brain child idea for a company called Darkside Koncepts....
Purly by accident I assure you....Maybe we'll think it over again...hehe

Vans running again..Moved to a better spot...seats out...measurements taken....just need some help hauling the table saw outside and we start cutting...

Looking good. Just a minor suggestion, don't black out the windows yet or else once you get a wall in there, the back area will be pitch black making it tough to hook up amps even with a trouble light.

Fairly productive day today... Got the battery in and the van running..
Removed the upper hing from the sliding door,which gives me about 3-4 inches extra height to build...(sort of seen here in this pic...the hinge was on the front upper corner of the door)
Got the windows blacked out....
Got the seats out...
Got the saw outside....
and got the floor of the encosure built...
I would have went further but it got kinda chilly,so I called it quits for the night....All going well,I'll be back at it in the AM...worse case I work on it next week while I'm in transistion to the new job...I'll have 5 days to build...
But I'm going to try to get the sides and maybe the back done tommorow...

So here's some pics from the little bit I did today...Would have gone farther,but like mentioned before,need longer screws to assemble the panels and my dril batteries went dead...So will get back at 'er on Weds I think...I'll have 5 days off to go build crazy then....

Woo!!Thats a close fit I'd say...Maybe 1/4" off the door...
Some left overs for future uses...

A box that doesnt let me close the sliding door....lol.....
We got the main stucture built(top,bottom,sides and back)....We had to hammer some metal around the door to make it slide...oh..and remove the sliding door all together...But its in there...
Just need to angle off the one edge(I hope thats all)and we should be good to start anchoring,building the innards,bondoing,resining,and painting the rest...
It sits a little further back than I had hoped,but other than that and the one angle that needs to be cut in,the thing is a nice tight fit.
I have some pics,but I'm too bagged to download em right now...so tommorow...
