Well, I thought this would be the best place to post all this instead of off-topic, because I wanted to better introduce myself in the dB Drag Racing Comp circuit.
First off, I want to wish you all a very Happy & Safe New Year!
Second, this is my 2,000 post.
I have been competing since 94 and have been to 2 dB Drag Comps last year courtesy of Carlton (shaven99ranger) bringing the circuit down to us.
I plan on attending all of the Augusta, Ga shows this year put on by Carlton, mainly Standard Electronics on Sunday.
I will also try to make some other major shows this year if possible (SBN & World Finals, especially if it is in Nashville).
I have just had a new engine and tranny installed, so the 83 is going to go on for quite a while more! It is a classic now (20 yrs) and I will be able to drive it in parades as a antique after 2008 (25 yrs), without booming, of course.
In conclusion, I hope to meet more of you and make friends in the coming year.
