Im trying to come up with a competitive system for street A for my ext cab f150. Since i have jump seats I can leave them up and just have a big box behind the seats. Im thinking of running 2 solo x 10's and a 2kwatt hifonics brutus amp. thats the highest wattage amp i wanna go w/ a stock alternator I think. Any other good sub and amp combiniations that would be competitive?

well most vehicles alts can handle 1200watts. 1500watts maybe. but anything over that and id say it might be pushen it....
just have a good battery under the hood and your grounds upgraded.
that 2K watts might be pushen it alittle. im preaty sure alternators arent under the factory warente, and i know for new cars they definatly aint cheap!!!!!!! [Frown]

Do a couple MT 10s or DD 9510s and run about 3kw+

Upgrade big 3 and get your alternator rewound.

Yeah, that seemed to work pretty well.
