This is just a feeler on how many we can sell. I have been talking with a manufacturer about an spl only headunit. It would consist of volume, pause, lcd display, track skip, 2-6 8v rca preout. There would NOT be bass and treble controls, there would be no fancy x-over, no am/fm radio, no balance/fader, just a straight spl unit. Pricing we are looking at about 100-150 dollars a piece with possibly a group buy at first. What about the cd transport mechanism? Can it be designed to handle the shick of some our our street cars? Flash memory would be ideal...but many comp orgs have not keep up with tech advances..for good reason too.
