Also If you want to put it that way Ext.1 beat the 3-4 and all but the top 2 in Ext5+ so dont even say that.

well to be honest the only thing i think is kinda unfair is those people who work for companies like Pioneer, Fusion and any other Brand should be automatically put into monster. i mean these people get paid to do nothing but work on their spl machines all the time which leaves it unfair for the consumers and even shop owners who cannot work on their vehicles even half the amount of time. Its nothing to take away from the amazing job these guys ahve done but lets face it if we all were able to work on our vehicles everyday of the week at least 8 hrs a day many more people would be where the select others are at.

I don't know what Scott's schedule is like, but the Fusion van saw far from 8 hours a day on it. I work a regular job 40+ hours a week as an electrical engineer to come home and work on the Fusion van. It may see 30 hours a week at absolute most on it. Granted there are benefits: larger budget, build team, etc. I think what Pioneer and Fusion have done though will become more common in the big classes due to the cost to be competitive being so high for such little return.

Why not have Pro and amature classes then and keep everything else the same.
Either you are sponsored or not like they do at the 24 hours of Le Mans there are always non factory sponsored teams at the race even though the odds of winning are not the greatest they still compete and have fun and who cares if you lose to a heavily sponsored factory effort and if you can beat them at their own game then the victory is all that much more impressive just my .02

Why can't you guy's admit that their louder than you. Don't try to throw them in a different class because their louder than you. How about trying to get louder than them, instead of singling them out. This is the battle of the loudest, not who has more resorces. Either try to get louder than them. Or give up, and realize the fact that your not

I have a great respect to B. Railey and I agree that we must do something to get more competitors to dB DRA ! I have one idea! How about a special trophy in WF´s and EF´s to loudest non sponsored SS or EXT car! That is something to go after! -> this way the competitor gets some respect for paying everything by hemself. = NO sticker of any brand on the car I hope that you will understund what my point is.

I am sure the US could have people right there with there score. the problem is the top people in X1 keep moving on, the last three years there has been a completly different top four every year. 2005 1st Mark Holbrook 170.4 2nd Eric Parsley 166.5 3rd Team XS SPL - Santos 166.7 4th Scott Van Riper 164.8 2004 1st Team Creative Acoustics 1 168.2 2nd Billy Joe Sale Jr. 167.1 3rd Jereme Creamer 165.6 4th John Wells 164.2 2003 1st Team Superior Sound 174.4 2nd Anthony Lloyd 167.4 3rd Nathan Munson 167 4th Team Audiomaxx - J.P. 168.1 If and when any one of these competitor compete in X1 again I am sure they will have scores very close to team louds xtreme one score.

The only EX1 score close to the Saaristos is Superior Sounds, and that was the old rules.
You can keep saying people are going to come out and get close but until it happens, they own the class.
As for sponsored cars, what is sponsored? How many cars that competed in EX didnt get any help or any discount at all?
And how many cars were handed every piece of equipment they used?
Its too hard to police/enforce.

What is unfair about it, if there is a higher class for us to go into, show me we will. But under the curent format this is the highest class available. That is what Bobby is suggesting to bring more ext competitors back. My hope is that the people with budgets and resources (the manufactures) will step up and bring our classes to anouther level. There should be some way to distinguish between what is considered a Pro and Amature. Until then please dont say that what we are doing is unfair.

how do you know there is no recognition in that class since i have never seen anyone even compete in the class yet. It would get recognition since the 2 loudest vehicles in the world would be in it Edge Audio and Team Loud. it would honestly not matter what class both vehicles were put into you guys would all the recognition in the world just like you guys do now.

If I understand it right, there is not even a Trophy awarded or a chance to win the extreme cup if you are in monster. As of right now the highest legit class to be in is 5+, it is my understanding that the monster class is for cars that dont fit the regular rules.

Oh Scott, I dont think that this "Monster" was a car...
It was more a "shoe box" not real a monster car...
And I also think its hard to find out who is sponsored or not. Bring the bills to the event? Are they really paid? Are you sponsored when you got a small discount, or even a big one when you bought a lot of stuff? I dont think that (no) stickers on cars are a proof. Companies sometimes even make advertising with some guys results, even if they dont sponsor them !
And, how easy is it to become sponsered? How much did the people do before, and paid out of their own pocket before a big sponsor steped in?
They may never get out what they put in.
I say, every guy (or team or whatever) what plays official on the top range in any class, or format, is worth the sponsering. Not the ones who got stuff and never show up. These are had for all the honest people who would work their asses off when getting something.
Eh, what again was the topic about ?

Yes it was.
But if we do monster car we can play more then 5dB louder then our Volvo.
I think that will be too expensive to do new sensors and why? only few cars need it.
I know Wayne will do new system but it not so easy to do working meter to 140-190dB if the average can go examble 160-190 it´s lot´s easier..

Since Scott, Kyle, Mike , Team Loud etc are so damned loud, why dont we have a class with like Street A rules on equipment and extreme rules on the build.
This would alow people to work their a$$ off on the vehicle and would only have to worry about a little amount of expense on equipment (relitively speeking)
Thoughts.....?????
i don't know ,this people work hard for this scores !! and they have the score ! we can do it also ,surging surging surging ,and there is a time you do also a big score !! 1 different is ; there are people sponsered ,and a lot of people not ,make there a different class for ! like before a pro class!
