i want to compete this coming up summer, so ive been reading up some and i have a few questions...

i notice ALOT of people use kicker L7s. i would be using older orion HCCA 10Ds. i have no experience with this SPL stuff, so assuming correct installs, how will these match up?

also talking bout the install, i see people talking about alot of the same equipment. is it at the point where it is known that certain amps/subs WILL give you better results?

ive been told a 2500D can take 1/2 ohm burps, so that is what id most likely be using. is there anythign wrong wtih that? i can afford to pay for this stuff, but what i cant afford is to buy an amp use it once and decide its not good enough and have to get another one.

If you are talkin about the Orion 2500d it can be run at 1/2 ohm for burps..

the orion 2500d will run at 1/2 ohm daily.
