I know what you are thinking on the Van thats Bo's van. The floor dose look too high but I was there and competed against it for the highest spl. If it were Illegal I would have said something. The floor to roof is actualy more that 32" it is very legal.

I wasn't gonna bring this up, was gonna leave it to your imagination, but I guess I'll just say it. The dash isn't legal, not by a long shot.
· The plane of the dash bounded in the front by the firewall, in the back by the trailing edge of the dash, and for a distance of 12 inches to the left and 12 inches to the right (measured horizontally) of the sensor placement location must be completely flat with respect to the ground. thought so · The dash must be completely solid (with no holes or perforations) and must extend front-to-back from the firewall to the trailing edge of the dash, and side-to-side from the windshield pillar on the driver’s side to the windshield pillar on the passenger side. nope · The trailing edge of the dash (the edge of the dash that faces the passenger compartment) must be straight and perpendicular to the centerline of the vehicle when viewed from the top. obviously it isn't

He just built the van but not for DB Drag. He decided that he was going to do DB Drag this month he has been tearing everything out and getting ready to redo it. I didnt pay much attation to the small details. 1 it was a 1X show, 2 he did tow the van for points and there was no one in his class, and I know for a fact that he has been redone the box last week and the cab this week. So I or anyone else didnt have a problem with it he knows that it has to be changed.

Look, maybe you didn't notice my post. Don't try to judge my events for me. If you have a problem with my events contact me or Wayne.
Like was stated already this was a "1X" event.

I'm sorry that I wasn't able to attend this SINGLE POINT event halfway across the country from me. I'm not trying to judge your events david, someone asked me what was wrong and I told them. The rules aren't different at a 1x...

I will apologize for trying to get my locals excited and interested in dbDRAG.
I will also apologize for not bombarding all of my competitors and spectators with "world finals" scrutiny so they get pissed and never come to another dbDRAG.
I will also apologize for for have a very large event where there was not one unhappy competitor or spectator, no whining or compaining until we tried to post pictures and share will everyone else.
Next time we will take 12 photos of the outisde of all vehicles from 20 feet away as not to get anyone upset.
I am also sorry for having the BEST DAMN DBDRAGS EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and there will be more......................
If you think any of the above "infractions" made the vehicles louder....HA.
If we judged every local vehicle with "world finals" scrutiny we would have had a full monster bracket with locals that don't give a hoot about finals, points or the rules. THEY JUST WANT TO COMPETE and show their wares. and thats what I'm going to help them do.
This community which I am a part of has never been exposed to dbDRAG or the caliber of vehicle which graced our event this past weekend. For someone never seeing and Extreme vehicle before it's alot to take in.
Since Sunday I have printed 6 complete rule books for customers that were at the show and want to understand more. I have 8 competitors that intend to follow us to the 3X weekend in Gainesville and Cheifland. I have sold several woofers and 2 amps to customers wanting to better their score for next time.
If any of this hurts dbDRAG or any of you let me know. But my snug to will be off again next time to let all my customer see my amps and batteries because thats why they came.
My customers, their happiness, and my business come before pleasing the drag community.
Myself, David, Wayne, and all who attended are pleased with the event and it's officating. Thats all that matters to me.

I didn't say you had to tear apart every car, but obviously if someone is building an extreme vehicle, they would want to know they are in violation of the rules. I'm glad you had a good turnout and got some sales out of this show, that is what shows are for. I hope you have success with many more shows this year, and continue to get new competitors interested. But don't make me sound like the bad guy cuz I pointed out what is obvious, and not just obvious to me...

Were you there? NO you were not. So why point something out if you do not even know if it was discussed at the event?
You made yourself look like the bad guy by being a **** and assuming it was not discussed.
