For some reason my 1958 VW van always had the reputation of being filled with concrete... but it wasnt... Maybe it was because it only did 50mph everywhere!!! Probably a safe speed having the original 40 year old brakes and all.
did around 5000 miles a year to shows etc, including the European finals each year, which was usually well over 500 mile+ trip.

Here is a real old pic when it used to run 8 strokers [Smile]

all it needs is new amps and subs? sounds like a pretty big chunk missing to me...but i'm straying from making my point

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR THE SPORT OF SPL?!? there are at least 3 people mentioned or participating in this thread that i know personally are at the top of their game...Perillo, Scottie, and the Rileys. they've done more in one season than you'll likely ever do in your life. to reiterate what Scottie was saying...shut us up with an impressive vehicle, some SPL accomplishments, and some wins of your own, or shut your mouth

Second Riley runs his hole about driving a 14,000# e 150 van safely, whatever.

Third When did I ever say anything recently other than what I stated above to instigate you clowns ?

bro, when you run your mouth about people i consider friends, you involve me. even if i didn't know them personally, i'd probably still be on here. but, if you wanna go on the "who asked you" kick, who the hell asked your opinion on the Riley's van.

i'm through with this. have a nice day [Smile]
