I have seen anything from 54 to 70 work just depends on the design

with two subs I play 58 hz, with 3 I play 54 hz, with 4 I play 51 hz and with 8 I play 47 hz...interestingly enough, with 8 subs playing at 47 hz they still don't move very much so power isn't an issue...but OMG 8x12"s at 47hz makes my poor van look like its gonna fall apart...sounds that way too! I have never been one to worry about the frequency being played as much as I have been concerned with the amount of control the enclosure has over the driver...my goal is always to make the driver NOT move with tons of power [Wink]

As far as volumes go... i really dont think that is as important as DISTANCES after a certain point...

Schmillen did you have your subs all they way up to the door jam or were they set back a bit?

our box is about 60 cubs. its almost identical to our extreme van. it will have 4 15s and tons of power.
