Mini Street was a local only class. These classes did not acure points towards the dB Drag Racing World Finals. Retailers/Promoters were able to design the classes as the market/geographic area determined.
Basically an entry level class that didn't go to finals.
Why was it omited? Not sure really. Some promters were having 6-8 Mini Street classes and that took away from the normal dB Drag Classes.
I hope this answers your questions.

Pretty much answers my questions. Looks like the reason it stopped was probally cuz of paying the entry fees and not getting any points that would go toward finals. Once again, you are the man.
