can i stay in my car in street a while being measured?

i found the resonant freq when i was in car and i'm afraid if i will be out while measured the resonant will change and the score will go down.

do i have to wear ear protection?

anything over 140 will count as 140 if you stay in the car

yes...that would be your best bet....but if you know you are under 140, then it would much easier to do it from the inside
