ive competed with MECA for a year and im tired of MECA and also this year i dont want just an SPL setup, i now have a daily driver set up that is extremely loud. i want to compete in db drag but i know i wont do too much in spl with a box tuned at 31hz so i was wondering if db drag has a drive by SPL event like MECA does.

j/k johnny. i applaud that you speak your mind, without regard to who likes it or doesn't !!
i think i told you that at the bar in nashville... but i mighta been drunk
also.. dave/sam since same has chosen to retire from dbdrag.. what about bassrace? i only knew this to be offered at sams shows, and concepted by sam.. will this proposal still stand with/for db drag? i personally loved the concept, and loved competing in it, since my car is setup as a daily driver.. i would hate to lose the opportunity since sam has retired. it's hard enough losing sam as it is.

who said we were stealing an idea?? its just another format of spl... and at any rate, it would be a great addition to dbdrag. look at sam's results from "bassrace".. everyone loves it and it is drawing alot of attention, and gettting new people into the sport. which is what dbdrag desperately needs at this point....

I guess that it pretty much depends on where your location is, alot of guys in the midwest aren't really that crazy about drive by SPL, I did MECA also and there were never big turn outs for drive by.
