I am not big into time schedules, but this event calls for one.

Some of you may be experiencing Usaci finals for the first time. They have 1 lane in and 1 lane out. Sunday they do re-qualifying only. In the afternoon, they set up for B&K runs. For the B&K, the vehicles pull up, test and remain shut up not touched for minumum 1 hour. Once they start the B&K portion it will be REALY REALLY difficult to pull vehicles in and out.

Below is the time schedule I have come up with and approved by Ralph.

Saturday Qualify 9AM to 6PM

I'm sure you can do your dB Drag Part after you do your Outlaw SPL run

Sunday - Estimated

9:00 Street A
9:30 Street B
10:00 Street C
10:30 Street Max 1-2
11:00 Street Max 3-4
11:30 Super Street No Wall
12:00 Super Street 1-2
12:30 Super Street 3-4
1:00 Super Street 5+
1:30 Extreme 1
2:00 Extreme 2
2:30 Extreme 3-4
3:00 Extreme 5+

We will try to keep on this schedule. The times may speed up alittle if there are few in the class. Please keep up with what class is next. If you know your class is fixing to be up, be in line. If you fail to pay attention to the time or are not in line when need be, we will move on without you. Sorry. Too bad. Glad you came. Hope you enjoyed yourself.

We will be giving competitors a Sunday time schedule when they qualify on Saturday. EVERYONE will know what time they need to be in the lanes. No excuses.

Have fun and see you there!

dB Jams volume 8 [Razz]
there has been a couple 3X's in Texas, results are not up so who knows what the records are
Rule will be like at finals, exception, plastic racing seats will not be allowed.
Equivalent replacement rule hopefully will be strictly enforced.

This isn't World Finals ( for dB Drag ), so we're doing our best to make judging more consistant across the World. Things may be judged alittle differently than they have in the past.

Steve, I am really looking foward to you hosting the show this coming weekend. It is going to be pretty interesting seeing how you plan on enforcing the rules and seeing how the competitors react and respond. wish you the best of luck.

B&K stands for Bruel & Kjaer I believe. It's just a fancy meter that costs lots of money. Most SPL standards are derived from it. They use it in USACi as their flagship deal for setting world records. Hope this helps.

Wellllll, the time has finally come. I look foward to attending my first World Finals (could not make MECA) and doing my first dB Drag show.
This will be the first show in the midwest (I think)and I hope that we can start this off on a good note and leave the past in the past, I know that the 2004 season ended on a bad note, but that is the past and it is history. I know that there will be some complaining on the way that Steve will be enforcing the rules, but he is doing what he has to do and he is doing what the bigger guys are telling him to do. Steve is a pretty cool guy (in a really weird way) and I know that he does not want to pi$$ people off, but he has to do his job and also enforce the rules at the same time.
I am new to dB Drag and I look foward to having a great year and meeting a lot of new people in the process, I am completely lost when it comes to car audio, so Danny, Mike, Charlie, J-Man (Broken Silence) LeAllen and the rest of the guys on TEAM TRENDSETTERS have taken me under there wing and are showing and teaching me all kind of things. LeAllen has even taught me that beer and beef jerkey really doesn't taste that together (LMAO).
I look foward to meeting new people and having fun at all of the events.
If you do not know who I am, I am WILL B SMOOVE, Biyatchhhhhh.
Good luck to all this weekend and let's have a good time.
