They were available January of 2003 through June of 2003 from Rockford. They no longer have the parts to build them. If you need to recone some, Chris Norris and Jay Lovelace have the parts and may sell them to you. If you would like to buy a used pair, PM me.

Funny, cause I wanted to buy some and couldn't [Roll Eyes] Very unusual for something to be avail to public yet I couldn't get any even though I had a pocket full of cash [Confused] The whole concept of "commercially avail" in Db Drag is a joke. Only certain competitors can get certain pieces of equipment.

Learn how to read... RF had the 18 available for a period of time and if you wanted them you could have had them. Matter of fact I know you saw a few up close this year. [Wink]

Yeha he was probably staying loyal to his local shop also and probably wanted to purchase them through proper channels but was told they were not available how hard is that to understand.

RF says not available
Buying them through Norris or Rileys does not make them available through RF

I get what you are saying, but I for one I am a all RF guy if I cant get RF from a shop, I would try and get it from some one who mite have a used one and recone it. I would not stop there and say ok the shop dos not have it, so I will go with some other brand. I hope you get were I am comming from. [Smile]

You are very correct, I did get to see some of them this year... I see all kinds of things, doesn't mean they are all for sale.
Now about this learn to read comment??? Are you having a bad day Tim???
I know who builds them... I went directly to Norris...Guess what, "they were not available".
Kinda funny huh? I was not put on a waiting list or anything, just told they were not available. That to me seems to be a lil outside the commercially avail concept to me. JMO [Roll Eyes]

you dont know what i tried and didnt try to get those. I didnt go to my "local shop" and find out they dont make them, i know people at RF just like you do and THEY told me the TRF 18 was not available. $$$$$hhhhiit i usually know more about whats going on at rockford before any shop around here knows. The most ive ever seen was a pic on the RF site of a 10", 12", 15", and 18".....but i was told the 10 and 18 were not available period and mayyyyyybe i could get ahold of Norris and ask him about it, maybe he could make me one. Thanks but no thanks. Another thing, Dont question my "loyalty" because i didnt call you in friggin switzerland or wherever the hell your from. I see the posts from everyone complaining how hard it is to get stuff from the states to somewhere over seas. Why do all that for a sub that is homeade and not even available to the public? NAHHHHH i got with Dave at RE and Scott (Navi) and they took good care of me. You know what, Rockford has done alot for me and im very grateful.......they still take good care of me so this isnt a blast on RF at all. I just wanted to know whattup with these subs since im an 18 kinda guy and they said they dont make them.

edit i see now.....your panties are all bunched up because you think im questioning your record. (no wonder riley and norris FLEW in here and offered to sell me some as fast as they saw this post LOL) Thats not the point because i believe you coulda probably done that number with a commercially available sub as well. I just wanted a pair of TRF AT THE TIME i was upgrading from my hx2 18's and ill tell you right now there was NO going to a shop anywhere and finding them, nor calling rockford and gettin them directly from them or my 'sources'. Thats the point of this post. If i raised any flags in the process then sorry bout that.

Did you guys not see bobby's post? The 18 was only available from RF for 6 months. If you weren't trying to get one in that 6 months, then that's why you couldn't.
