I guess I am a different animal - the Rig is an 84 Auto Car and a 1986 48 foot enclosed trailer - total length is about 65 feet -13'6" high and 8'6" wide. The ramp is equipped with a wrench to help pull the bronco. I paid about $14,000 for the trailer in 1997 and put another $20,000 in it to make it functionable for our purpose..It will hold 3 cars plus the golf cart in addition to having the belly open for storage. The entire tractor is licensed for 80,000 lbs. The most we have had on it was 66,000 lbs.
The biggest advantage is safety and its a rolling advertisment for my sponsors..The disadvantage is that you must have a certified driver license (CDL) in order to drive it and we must follow all federal regulations. Where you can get in your vehicle and drive forever, Mike can be on duty 10 hours a day - no more. He is on his way to Phoenix now - this trip is a two day trip for him from Bixby, Ok.
I started out with a 48 foot Braco trailer and was never able to use it with the Bronco. Even though it could hold the weight - legally - it could not handle the extreme weight because we could not balance the load.

This is our transportation method. As you can see nothing so heavy compared to US trailers. And towing vehicle is VW's Transporter with 2liter nonturbo engine..

Weight of my trailer is about 900lbs. Towing capacity of trailer is about 4000lbs but there is no problem to handle my BeXtreme's weights. That car weights about 4600lbs. Only thing what upgraded was tires of trailer. Current tires can hanle double load than orginal ones
