Mine is a Haulmart 24ft. dove tail enclosed. It has 2 3500lb independent axles. Carries a 8,000lb extreme car. Price $5360.00 US Trailer 1500 to 2000lbs

16 foot DCT wooden deck trailer, dual 3500 lb axles with brakes on both.

Our astro isn't extreme, but probably weighs at least 8,000. It tows reasonably well, but I would not feel comfortable with any more weight than what we have.

Paid around 1,800 all in after titles and whatnot. Greg Piper (pipebomb on the forum) has the exact same trailer as me and likes it also.

Not sure on what just the van weighs, but with truck, trailer, and van, it is right at 34,000 lbs.
Paid around $8000 for it brand new.
It is one of the best investments I have ever made. Not only does it save me lots of money now that I'm not killing tires and rims, but I feel much safer!

This is key. If your thinking about buying a trailer my suggestion would be not to skimp. Saving a bit of money now doesn't help at all if you end up losing everything that you've worked so hard to build, and spent so much time on.

We had one very serious trailering scare this summer when towing to the 3x in Waukesha. Ever since that I tripple check EVERYTHING, and have a very healthy respect for trailering (not that I didnt before, but safety is always the first thing on my mind now).
