Kara and I would like to thank a few people who were instrumental in our success this year.
MTX (especially Chad Marra, Shawn Franquero, Hillary Moore, and Dan Roemer) This company was there for us in product & tech support as well as excellent press coverage.
Shocker Audio (Mike & Vernon Ankney) What can I say, Mike makes an unbelievable woofer! His support and knowledge of the Sig has allowed us to get every last drop of output out of them!
Superior Sound (Okey Lawrence) Without this guy wed never stood a chance in 2003 or 2004. Its an honor working on both vehicles and your assistance and ideas I could never put a price on!
Lance Dearth This guy was there throughout the year and at Finals helping with van. Without his help Id be up to my eyeballs in work!
Mike Rohrbach Our newest team member: thank you for the support and assistance, and tolerating my many mood swings!
To the following people throughout the course of the weekend:
Jay Lovelace & Creative Acoustics Team Thank you for loaning a few tools and bondo to us Friday to allow us to get our van in compliance.
Jimmy Zimmerman Thank you for loaning the compressor and grinder on Friday to allow us to get our van in compliance.
Steve Benton (US Judge) This guy is awesome! He helped explain and work with us throughout Friday on the few prejudging issues we had. He is also a great guy to hang out with. Just avoid the three wise men!
Raymond Choy (Canadian Judge) This guy is right there with dB Steve. He helped explain and work with us throughout Friday on the few prejudging issues we had. We need more judges like these two guys.
Extreme 2 Class (Team Riprock, Team Welch, Arts Sound Chamber, Danny Hays) It was great hanging out with you guys and talking with all of you. You guys pushed us all year and even more this weekend. I was a bit worried after qualifications to say the least.
Mikko aka dB Warrior It was great meeting you and talking with you. It was nice to hear your thoughts and talk about some testing that you had done and coincidently I had as well.
At this point I cannot say what our plans are for 2005. I do know that I will not be working on the van as much as this year. It seems that working on the van became more of a job this year than a hobby and caused a bit of burnout. I do not want to retire but I think we will definitely be trying to enjoy ourselves more. If for any reason I came across harsh to anyone this weekend, I apologize. Friday was very busy and stressful.
If I missed anyone, (sorry) thank you very much! Congrats to all winners and World Finals participants. Making World Finals alone is an accomplishment in itself and everyone should remember that.

There was so less time and so much talking Also it was really nice to see your happy faces when you easily brake that 170 barrier fist time. I think that i might have some video clip for that.

ahhh memories... anybody remember this car?
Within a year after we retired the car Wayne created Extreme 1 I would have loved to try Extreme 1 in that car. At that time we were in Extreme 3-4 though and it just was not big enough for the amps and batteries required.

I also remember myself making the comment a couple years ago that a van would never work in Extreme 1 or 2: Boy was I wrong Who would have thought? Anyone else recall the days of sealed enclosures and ported with 50-75 square inches of port per driver? Man I feel old!
