Eric was doing a strong number coming into finals.....154.6 or so, after finding out that couldn't use the amps, he tried 200.1's and they didn't wrong becuase of the ohm load. Then he couldn't find Mike in time to get recones, add that along with some other problems he just decided to hell with it.

From what eric told me, he decided not to compete because he couldn't use amplifiers that were used all year long, set world records, etc. I respect him greatly for that decision, takes a man to stand up like that.

I will speak on this in several days, as of this moment I will stay quiet as I still need to talk to Wayne,
But I would like to add that it had nothing to do with Mike Shocker, he was awesome.

I left my vehicle at home when I found out about that poor decision not to allow the amps for street a. I also respect Eric's decision not to compete. I probably would have gotten kicked out of the convention center if I hadn't gotten the phone call and I had shown up with the car.
By the way, I want to thank Terry Brooks for the phone call on Friday. That phone call saved me some money, and a lot of grief, and major problems.

We received the call from Rusty Flowers Friday afternoon telling us that the amps were ruled as 2 in 1. This killed us as we were 157 with 1 Collossus in Max 1-2 and required recones from Ankney 2 use both. I believe this last minute decision kept us from placing better. I think that Eric made a great stand and so did Alex.

Thats two words.
Cut-Off date wouldn't have changed anything. Now had Someone/Anyone replied to the repeated Posts regarding "Which Amps are Considered two seperate Amps" then we may have avoided this situation.
