i was thinking about getting with my local shop and hosting some events. just curious as to who would come out to our shows.
the shop is near chicago, in montgomery, il. about a half hour southwest of chicago. the shop owner is a friend of mine, and i am trying to get him to host sanctioned db drags, with my help. he has a great location, and knows how to have fun. and everybody who knows me knows that i love to have fun
we plan on starting in april if we get enough responses, then have as many shows as wayne will allow us. maybe even a double pointer, who knows.
let me know what people think, so that i can start planning.

You know I'll be there! Just try to hold the shows over the weekends...That way I don't have to skip my classes more than what I already do. hehe I too am trying to get my shop to hold a few shows this yr...Maybe even a triple pointer, so you'll have to make sure to come down here as well!

I'll be there!!!! Will I come out and compete.... who knows? Maybe I'll have to spectate! I would like to see everyone there. Look for the guy with the loudest shirt in DB Drag!!!!

thanks for all the quick responses. keep them coming, the more the merrier. if the shop owner sees enough responses, we will have the shows for sure, and if wayne allows us a multi-point, we will do that for sure too.
itHRTZ, from bolingbrook, is really close by.
db dave, it's good hearing from you. shows will be on sundays. bring some of the others with you, like rodney. we're closer then excel audio was.
