I don't think monster class will have world records or certified scores on the leader board. At least they shouldn't.

Monster Class is listed on the World Records page. I feel that this should not happen as it is an exibition class and should not have World Records. This is the way we talked about it in the rules discussion.

Well, its hard to have a class, and give it world records if there aren't even any rules governing it?
I was under the impression that it was going to be a "fun only" class. Next thing you know we'll have power wheels with monster boxes strapped to the top entering it (what the?)
I think the scores on a record page should be "legit" scores only. If people do something completely crazy and get super high scores, it only discredits (in the eyes of those that don't know) the legit scores that people busted ass to earn.

You are correct with regards to the Monster Class. I just need to change the software on the web. I really don't want this class offered except at the Finals.

Just so you know the only thing that puts virgil williams truck in Monster is the fact that he is only running two subs right now with 8 amplifiers. To be a legit vehicle all he needs is two more subs. and he can competein EX3-4

Yeah, my comment wasn't directed towards Virgil at all, more the people that will come down the road doing weird things and getting stupid high scores....
I guess I'm just happy now that all the orgs are using the same meters, and the scores will be much more even. I spent years busting out relatively good numbers, but having orgs like USAC with VERY high meters, basically make the "legit" scores look like any old kid could do it. At least now, when your at a show, and you do a 169, the kid thats over in the USAC lane won't be doing lower 160's with his 4 12", making it look like your score was crap. You tell a kid in my store that you do a 169 on the termlab, and they don't even bat an eye. Now they will go to a show, hit a 145 instead of a 159, and they will realize how much work really went into that 169!
ok, thats my morning rant!

But I need to get this sorted out from the start. Detlef said he would add a mail to the scores stating the Flag issue. Thanks onec more Wayne. It is grate to see our score on the WR List. Looking forward to see you at ESB.
