Pipo Senior Member Member # 10754 posted                        Okay Florida competitors Divine Sounds just put 4 more shows for us, so lets go get the points and make a bigger turnout for the state of Florida at finals. Thanks Krik!!! and of course Carlos,Eric,Will and whoever else works there. So guys there is 6 shows listed in the calender and the state finals later this week. Let's get points, LOUD and apprecite what this shops has done for us this year. If there are 9 competitors in a class then it will have prizes of 100 for first 50 for second and 20 for third. If there is only one competitor in a class then they will get 20 bucs for first place. By the way entry fee is 20 dollars. The more competitors the higher the cash prizes. It is 5 classes total. To get max cash prizes in each class would take 45 competitors. I thought that higher cash prizes and friendly competition would be more fun than 1 competitor per class in 12 classes. Don't worry Pipo if I compete with my van I will run with a handicap. I 'm happy about the shows but it looks like I'm going to have travel far to get more points. I just don't see how can you get more people into the shows by changing all the Db drag classes. Hey is your shows do what you want, I'm just leeting you know. Pipo you already have 65 points you do not have many more to go there is a show in Orlando Sunday and in Gainsville on the Aug 2nd there are 16 points that you will be able to get. If you are trying to get points. I might not be competiting at all at these shows. One is my wifes birthday. By the way there is one show to still be scheduled it will probably be a double and there is still State Finals E+E and Nopi in Atlanta. I know this just comes off wrong but if you know me then it shouldn't. When you are looking at competiting at the national level you always want to try to beat people in the next class above you. Last year at all of our Shows I always qualified beside a bigger competitor ( usualy was Rick Donahey his 20 amps 10 15's against my 20 amps 5 15's) than my own class to make it tougher and to give me higher scores to go up against. I know we were not in the same class but it was at the same time. As for direct competiton there were usualy no other 5-8 competitors there. Another thing that makes it more helpful is the fact that there is a good possibility of a full bracket of competition. You might actualy get to play your system 4 times at one show instead of just qualifying and one round to compete. -------------------- A real Street Beater not built just for the meter. I just want to get my 100 points and then I will try to get a little loud.
