I apologize for not being able to show at the event. We will not be able to come to the event on the 26th, due to prior commitments, But, we are scheduling our activitis, so we can attend both events in August. Thank you for bringing dB Drags to the south, and we will do our best to show our appreciation.

Hey guys I will say we were a little disappointed with the turnout but we also understand people do have other thinhgs going besides Db Drag. Personally I was hoping to see more locals than what we had also but hopefully that will come with time. As far as the Heatwave situation it all will be decided Thursday or maybe even early Friday will still stand a chance of driving up to Trendsetters for their show. If we dont do that Im guessing we will venture out towards Austin.

same happened here last year when we had a few shows.. low turn out... most too scared to get metered. but i know in houston, mobile one used to have a " competition team"... called Houston Hard-Hitters or something like that.. i wished we could have shows like we did a few years back, about 30 shows in tx... and for us... that's a LOT! at least then i could plan ahead several weeks in advance, and get the time off...
but now, because of my job, i'll be leaving the rest of the crew short handed, and we're short handed already... but i will make an effort to venture out to houston, especially when i have something i can compete with

I showed up...but everyone was already gone. [Frown] . Scott, maybe if you tie all your balloons to the power line instead of just one streamer of them, you could start a fire and people would come to the light.

Did 104.9 do any advertising for the show? I honestly had no clue until you told me. Someone on here has some tips and secrets to get the locals out so share them. Also being as new as you are alot of folks don't even know you exist. Houston is big enough that you should get a better draw. Good luck though. Isn't there another show soon? If so, let me know what I can do to help. I'll try to get the few folks I know to come out.

A few signs,on a few major roads in and out of the city and many months before the show,do wonders for attendance.
Also going to the local HS and telling the kids there is going to be a free car stereo class helps and also having something for the wifes to do like a finger painting booth will stop the wives and GF from wanting to go home after an hour at the show, hey have a bingo tent for them [Wink]
Hope this helps.
