I need a repeater for my remote so I can shoot a signal in the back of the car and the wire will run to the headunit and make the remote work. I need it for this weekend......Any ideas?

If I remember correctly, PAC makes an IR relay (for around 25-30 bucks). Ask some local shops to look into it for you.

PAC, commonly known for thier battery isolators High to Low level converters, and many other OEM to aftermarket adapters.

In my home electronics retail days, I got a hold of Xantech. It runs off of 12v. Head over to a home AV retailer and ask for a Xantech. You'll need a 283 (emitter) a CB-12 which connects the emitter to power and remote eye. And the Eye itself....I think it's a 291-10 is a large bulky eye, or you can try the 480 eye, a lot smaller but you'll want the CFL version cause it will work in direct sunlight....

I'm sure this stuff is killer, but not cost effective.
283M (emitter) / retail $14.00
CB-12 (connecting block) / retail $20.00
291-10RP (receiver) / retail $66.00
291-80 (receiver CFL) / retail $106.00
480-80 (receiver CFL smaller than the 291 series) / retail $126.00
