My Neon was hit by a full size van today as I was driving. The rear bumper was ripped from the vehicle, the rear quarter panel is pretty messed up and the rear passenger tire is bent upwards from impact. I was hit so hard that the lady spun me around to face oncoming traffic. I am alright besides being shaken up a bit and thank God my children weren't in the vehicle with me because that was some scarey impact. The adjuster is to be in contact with us tonight and hopefully we will have the Neon repaired soon. I was able to drive the vehicle home and it still drove smoothly so I may try to compete with it while we wait on parts etc, but I don't know yet. I will post some pics later if I get the chance.

Glad your ok, I was in one last month but even though i could drive it, they totaled my car(95 Camry) and we bought a 03 Honda Odessey with the money.
Remember you have up to a year from the date of the accident to claim injuries so don't sign nothing until you know your ok. It took 4 days before I felt the pain. Take Care.

Sorry it has taken so long to get pics up...we came home to find that our power was out and went to my wife's folks house were I made the original post from. We've had some terrible storms pass through Columbus this afternoon/evening.
Thank you to everyone for the kind words etc. I hope that it can be fixed before finals...or atleast rebuilt in time.

wow, really sorry to hear that but as everyone has said, at least you are all ok...easier to fix car parts than body parts usually hehe
now you'll be able to tell if you really have the disease...if you skimp on repairs (find the cheapest place...but get some estimates that are a bit higher) as much as you can so you can put the extra money towards the system lol

The enclosure is fine as is the equipment. The outside of the car is just ugly. I have an appointment at 1pm today with a body shop for an estimate.

The woes continue. I went to 3 different locations to get estimates today, but once they found out I carried Allstate they said they couldn't give me an estimate and only an Allstate adjuster could. I called Allstate and set up an appointment and the soonest they can see me is next Monday. I am concerned with that time frame so I am looking into other alternatives.
Would any judges protest my vehicle being used at a certified event? I planned to attend the double on the 20th, but I'm not sure if they would allow me to run through the lanes in the condition it's in. The last thing I want to do is cause controversy so I don't intend on pushing the issue.
