Has anyone bought the new Termlab SPL meter? Our Spl meter just arribed about 3 days ago. We started to set it up today. For some reason the new meter (Termlab) is measuring the same as the older termpro meter. To our knowledge this new meter is the cuting edge of techonology and it is measuring inacurate, have we done something wrong? Can some help us out. We have set the K factor at 178. The sensors have been calibrated and we have checked our work many times over also we have updated the software to the version 3.6.19. If someone has more knowledge on this new meter please help us out. Thank you

Call Wayne at 208-773-3371.

He was very helpful and extremely patient when I called him with questions about problems I had while loading the software onto my computer.

Better yet...trade Termlabs with David McLean or Steve Benton! LOL!! J/K!! [Big Grin]

Miguel, is it possible your old Termlab was set to a low k-factor? That would explain it.

- No I don't believe this one is reading correctly, the new Termlab he just received from Wayne a few days ago is reading a full 4dB higher score on his truck (with no changes) than both show's scores that he's been to in the last month, which were also using the new meter - and one of those two events he attended was a 2X in Bakersfield (148.8) and 'Vegas (148.5).
