The 8" that did a 147.5 was in a power wheels vehicle. Kicker ZR120 for power, full video system with playstation. Mind you this is an open vehicle that is "daily driven" by Biggie, not one of the extreme modified type from USACi.

I've got a dumb question. Can you enter in two classes? IE. Mini Street 1 sub & street 1-2? or is that a no go? [Big Grin]

power wheels don't count over here, some people figured that score was blah from a legal dash standpoint, but 147+ at the dash(in a actual vehicle)
would be a good thing to see.
can an 8in handle enough power to get over 147db at the dash? hmmmmm
I'd say no more than a 143 will win Feb 2nd maybe less who knows:cool:

Personally, my vote is on Assman!! Only cause he's got more amp than we might have. Also, I'm deep into the construction of the world's most difficult trunk!!!!!! and I'm coming up short on air space - but it's a trick looking box!! I have no clue what my box is gonna hit but oh well - here goes! Assman - YOU BETTER SAVE ME ONE OF THOSE SUBS!!!!! I'll be coming up there soon for it! As for 30 hz on 8- let's face it - in order to get high #'s out of 1 8, we gotta tune high and these boxes just won't play 30 hz with any balls, ya know??? Whoever runs a single 18, should run 30 hz down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

most of the ppl who are going to be in the 8" class are from this site and will know its turned up so whats the point. also you wont have any braging rights if its turned up, keep the mic the way it is and we can show everyone that the midwest can't touch the Eastcoast :-D

OK, I hit my goal of 6 at one time! It's hard to have that many posts posted that are at least meaningful responses to various subjects - and - while on dial up! I almost had 7! Sorry ,but it's too cold and dark to get anything else done on the Team Granny Trunk tonite!!!!!!!!! So I was goofing around on the forum instead!!--------- So how many entries are we to have in single 8" sub class---- ROLL CALL!!--- I will go and have "Team Krazy Eights" stickers made up this weekend and given out free to all who enter this sideshow freak, I mean event, what size what be average, also color? Time to post y'all!!!!!!!

WE WILL BE THERE WITH THE CAMARO AGAIN, SINGLE 8" CLASS WITH KICKER L7, AND SINGLE SUB CLASS WITH A JUGG 12". THAT IS A GREAT IDEA FOR THE STICKERS, WE DEFINATLY WANT ONE. I ALREADY HAVE A DESIGN FOR THE BOX, I AM GOING TO BUILD IT TOMORROW, HOPEFULLY IT'S NOT A BUST. GOOD LUCK TO BK AND ASSMAN. I REALLY HOPE THAT MORE THAN JUST THE THREE OF US ARE IN THIS THING.

I didn't know which ones to get so I had 2" high by 16" long stics made in white. The sticker dude was leaving early today so I had to rush down and get 'em! The font is called Micro, how appropriate! I got a cool dozen right now. The question is " Will we have 12 entries in Krazy Eight Klass???"

I think the winner will probably hit around a 146 -147Db. 'cause about a month ago I saw a 6x9 do 144 and change on the dash on an audio control meter. This happend at a sanctioned usac show on an accurate mic.
