Wayne, this is Dan Lenz, of WI. I recently entered my results for the two shows listed above. I do know who took 1st and second, if you wish to add it. Unfortunately, I'm not positive on what their respective SPL's were, though. In Wheeling, IL (1173), Jack Mantooth took first with a 147 or so. Karl Wright took second with like a 146 or so. Karl also took 1st in Rockford (1170) with a 147.something (I remember, it was my first final round!).
I also ask that at least list Karl's scores. I was informed this past weekend of the unfortunate death of Karl Wright. Although I don't know the specifics of his death, I was told it was in a motorcycle accident over the fourth of July weekend. Altough a little late, I would like to send my condolences to his family and friends. I am pround to know that my first final round competition was with Karl. I never would have known him otherwise. I talked with him all day in Wheeling, and he was really cool. Unfortunately, Niles was the last time I saw him. I wish I would have spent more time talking with him then. I know he loved competing, and had asperations for finals. It is also weird now to know that I have a picture with him and Gary Alwes after the Wheeling show. Gary should have the picture to. I need to get mine developed, yet, if I can find the right roll of film. Once I get it developed, I'll post it here. I never knew anyone that got killed before. It is really a shame, and I wish him farewell. I hope all who got to know him will keep his memory alive, and he will always be a part of Db Drag.
-- Gary, if you already have that picture developed, post it if you can. Thanks. --

It is truly unfortunate when something like this happens. I didn't know Karl personally but from looking at his Stats Page, it is clear that he really loved to compete. My condolences also go out to everyone who knew Karl.
Let's be careful out there.

Dan, it was nice of you to let all the dB Drag members know what happened to Karl. My condolences also go out to his family. I to meet him for the first time at the Wheeling show. His enthusiasm for the sport goes beyond compare. He was very out going and made it a point to at least say Hi to all the competitors that were competing. Before the show was over he was all ready talking about the next show he would attend. I met him again at the Niles show and again he stood out like a shining star. His presence will be missed at any show he had on his schedule. Again,I am very sorry to here of his passing.
Gary Alwes
P.S.,I sent you a picture to post,I'm not to familiar on how to post a picture.
