WATTSUP, thanks for being one of the few to respond calmly. All I stated was something that I noticed in DbDrag that I felt was unfair. I saw so many rip heavily on John Henry's van, and frankly, I agree with most of it. BUT, everyone was given time of day. I state one thing, possibly a problem that may be in DbDrag, and I felt that I should say something. This is the first thing that I felt needed a topic, so I created my ID here. I now do see the importance of this bulliten board! Unforunately, I can't say anything, without someone getting pissed. I don't think what I say is offensive to anyone, but apparently it is. I talk to people at shows, and what I have said is what most people I talk to also agree with or have said themselves. BUT, unless everyone agrees with what someone says, you get thrown to the hounds. I can totally understand all that everyone has said, but when it comes to personally knocking on me because I don't have thousands to spend, but still want to enjoy this sport, THAT I just don't understand. I thought Wayne wished this to be as fair as possible for everyone, but it is dang hard to be fun when I know that I just don't have a chance to go to finals, due to how other people can get points. That is all. I know someone will tare on me for that one, but, oh well.

ALSO, the reason I don't have my personal E-mail listed is just that reason. I've beejn ripped on publicly for bringing to light a situation that I felt needed attention. I don't need to clutter my inbox will harsh messages from draggers that don't have the guts to put it out in the public. I know many have read what I wrote, and have opinions. I know there are some who agree with me, but after seeing all the negatives I have gotten, I'm sure they won't peep. I wouldn't. That's why!

TREMORZ, AMEN to that! That is basically the solution to this whole thing. Kudos to Kenwood and MTX, and everyone else who is doing this already!!! Alot (not all, no in specific) of retailers don't have the capability to run a show on their own, nor how to run it. The worst show this year was putting the mic on the seats (not jigged to the dash), until someone spoke up!! Also, there should be some way to avoid the lane differences. I know that resembles real drag racing, but this is a little different, right?

Enforcer you said only cars with 18 woofers can get into a mag right well team pure sound has only 5 and they got in one steve cook has 8 he got into one as well you can have a great system with spending little money as well and in this world no matter what we do when there are rules and laws you cant please everyone it seems your a bitter person and if you read the rules it does not say anywhere that a shop can only host one DB drag event per year and why pick on this IL person? what about Jay?? he throws shows like every other weekend and he has many points if you really want to go to finals DRIVE then just cause you have only 30 some odd points does not mean you dont get an invite note wayne sends invites to the top 100 out of that top 100 maybe only 70 go then he will just go down the list till he fills 100 slots you yourself send your not a trohpy scooper or something along that lines but indeed i think you are one in one post you said you dont care if you place first all the time you just compete then in your next you said you dont wanna goto finals cause you will get beat real bad i will be the FIRST to say getting beat is NO fun at all but just being at finals seeing people you might never get a chance to see again for another year and seeing the CRAZY different cars and people that create the cars is fun in itself but if you feel that power class or woofer class is no fun and not fair maybe you should goto IDBL or USAC and do USAC's port wars(although i think its really dumb to stick a mic in a port and do 160 with 1 12") and in no way am i telling you do leave DB drag and never come back but you just seem really unhappy and just plain ole whine to darn much sorry it had to be said but its true and i dont mean to pick on you or anything but all you do is complain about db drag and how unfair it is

I learned something knew, I was MISTAKEN. BUT, it wasn't apparently made clear to everyone about the number of shows they can host. All I stated was I noticed, and was under the impression that it wasn't right. MY APOLOGIES. As for the Team Pure Sound thing, yes they got in a magazine. BUT, more often than not, who is it? AND, I was referring more along the lines of if you had two cars, side by side, same model, same spl (say 165), each just as nice as the other, BUT one had 4 15's and the other had 12 10's, who would get the magazine article? CHANCES ARE that it would go to the 10's, because on paper, the more woofers the more impressive. Ask a magazine editor about that one. As for the bigger woofers I mentioned a few posts back. LOOK AT THE TERMINATOR. If that had one woofer taken out, it would be in the 1-2 woofer class. You can't outright tell me that the current classes are completely fair.

Enforcer you say that if two cars are next to each other in the lanes and both do a 165 one has a bunch of subs and the other has just four or five you said that the car with more subs will get all the attention??? thats a LOAD of BS that will make the person with more woofers look bad think about it in the same way your at the gym you see a big 250lb person with muscles every where and then there is a skinny dude that weighs a buck and a quater soaking wet they are both on the bench press next to each other the big muscle dude does his best and puts up 190lbs then the skinny dude goes and he puts up 190lbs and in the process almost soils his pants so your going to tell me that everyone will run to this muscle dude???? i think NOT

1) Usac allows a retailer to do several
events.
2)DB drag does too, and think how it benefits
the other competitors they didn't intend
to sponsor. (if that is the case)
3)I wouldn't be surprised of anyone not
wanting to list there E-mail considering how
nasty others on this forum can get periodically.
Fortunately this is the exception and not
the rule.

i think enforcer has a point that the shop on illionis is holding shows every 2 weeks is kinda wrong but its a part of life deal with it . i am a competor from northern ill and that shop is still like 4 hours away and i plan on going to some of their shows just to make sure i get a trip to finals this year it would be nice to have a local shop to hold a show at least once a month cause driving my car to a show is like driving a damn tank both weigh alot and take for eveer to slow down driving 2+ hours to a show is a real pain in the a$$ and plus i like the woofer class set up evan thou i have only 4 15's and my freinds blazer has 18 '12 people both look at our cars and their jaws drop but i get alot of looks cause i have a rabbit with four 15's and they are not expecting that granted i am not going to win finals this year cause of larry benton and his 18's but im doing every thing a can thing of to catch him cause its fun to see how loud you can make 4 subs compared to make 18 subs do the same number
