On the subject of finals. How many point do you have to have to enter the "Extreme Class" at finals. Or is it an open class for those who might not have the points as it has been before?
Just courious.

As far as I know it is open! It needs to be cause guys like myself could never qualify if it weren't. I am currently building an EXTEME vehicle that I intend on taking to finals! Ya see, since this class is never offered, and I can only compete extreme, I am limited to one or two shows a year!!! That sucks, but so do high frequencies and people still use em, right?
As I have been told, you can attend ANY show with an "extreme" vehicle. Though you will be bracketed in the top pro class, since the software only holds 8 class's. But the points will be credited to YOUR membership number, once the info gets back to Wayne. I personally have not tried this yet, BUT I WILL! I got this info from event cordinators around the Southeast.
The only problem I can see with this policy is that you will be head to head with who ever is legally in the top pro class offered at that show. This can cause some large problems when you beat them, with YOUR vehicle.
Please let me know how your vehicle is comming along. If I can help you in any way PLEASE let me know!

Again, showing my ignorance, yet again, what is an EXTREME class vehicle? I'm trust trying to envision a group of insane (meant as a compliment) audio installers, who are already pushing the limits of what a car and it's equipment can do, trying to plan something further beyond the rhealms of "normalicy". Oh well, please excuse my ignorance on this matter, and thank you for educating me.

I'd say Extreme is 144 12"s and 70,000 plus watts of Linear Power amp (experimental)? GO THUNDER!
