In AJ's 1999 Honda Civic, we remove the seats at shows and use a 10 inch high box to sit on when moving the car, mainly for cosmetic purposes (can see woofers better). www.ajaudio.com
I've read through the rules many times, it says that no structual modifications are allowed forward of the B pillar, would you class temporary boxes as modifications? Should we remove the temporary seats during competition?
Your views would be appreciated,
Many thanks,
Phil
PS, we've just upgraded the batteries to a combination of TROJAN 6 & 8 volt golf cart deep cycles, plus other minor changes, looks to have gained 3.7dB, so a 160+ is finally on the cards!! Not bad using MTX Thunder 8000 15's.

Yes the box needs to be removed in the lanes. with it in during the run should be considered a modification to take up airspace in the passanger cabin and should move you to Extreme.
