Here is a rules proposal...........

Why not a 60Hz filtered mic so noone can play above 60Hz in their vehicle that way it gets even harder for next year.

And then real Bass is being used.

Or you can do cap off in every class like 60 Hz cap off in street class and 60 Hz in super street and extreme cap in 80Hz????

hmmmmmmm

Dam straight 30hz or less. Now thats what I call a great Idea. Then instead os spl we could measure bodyflex with a laser. kinda like a hydraulics contest that measures height.

61 Hz is still very much bass. why put a filter on just to make it harder. It is not cool to make a bunch of people redo or scrap thier systems just for shats and giggles.

I think a low frequency class might be cool, but I dont think this rule should be applied to every class.

hmmm... not to argue but 60hz is not bass to me... If my 3.5" speaker can play that low than it can't be real bass... hehehe

Anywhoo yeah 45hz is the norm for high bass to me...

BigB

Its a bare knuckle brawl in the dB Drag lanes lately, so a new company was formed. A company so well versed in competition knowledge and enclosure design that building woofers was the next logical step to producing the kind of spl that many manufacturers are afraid to try and accomplish. The PSIs are the future of car audio SPL subs. The INHUMANs are for SQ as well as SPL, they are the ultimate cruising street sub, delivering subsonics and lows to everyone within miles. I always wanted a sub that would do 30 Hz @ 150+ dB. INHUMAN will open the door to the next wave of competition woofers. Its time to take the gloves off. Its time to bring audio competition to the next level.......

i think 60 HZ is a great cap for street and SS cars. the intent of the class is to use a system that can be used in somewhat normal driving operation, this would push more of that.

though i do think most competitors in S and SS use 60 or below anyhow

I say play whatever you want up to 80hz; it fair for every competitor who wish to compete.

Wayne said that he wanted to make as few changes as possible to the rules for next season. Changing the frequency limit would be a MAJOR change, and I can guarantee you that it wont happen Like I said, a low bass class would be fun though.

Well they say the perfect ear can hear nothing below 20Hz, how about a strictly below 20Hz class! You wouldn't hear anything, (besides rattles) But imagine 18Hz @ 160+ dB! Talk about BASS.

I know that everyone rebuilds almost every year but some people keep their existing walls and just work on the port. Making people move walls back is kind of crappy IMO. Now dont get me wrong, a 80 Hz cap is good. If anything maybee it should be moved down to 70Hz, but not many people burp there anyways. Hey BTW beyond, I just read my other statement that I made and it sounded kind of crappy to me...I was not having a good day. hope I didnt piss you off any.

I dont like a 60 Hz cap, my truck just starts to come alive when I'm burping in the 60's.

No I try to just have fun. I feel we need a way to be competitive.......

Maybe instead of a deathmatch there be a deathmatch at 30Hz for 1 minute

I say lets stop making such crazy adjustments to thing like this..i feel 80 hz is a fine cap...lets not make this harder than it already is...you don't want to discourage people..i'm not saying it wouldn't make people try harder but come on...
