I'm about 1 month from getting my car ready to enter my 1st DB Drag event, and I re-read the rules today, and came across a problem.
In the Street 1-2 class it says you can only have 1 4-channel (non-bridged) amplifier. Well I've centered EVERYTHING around Street 1-2... except my amp, the Memphis Belle.
I've always wanted this amp, and am not getting rid of it just for this class. So, with the Memphis Belle, what is the "lowest" class I can compete in?

i think that as long as you run the other channels off of this amp you will be fine. for example run the 4 mids/highs with the 4 channels, and run the subs with the 5th channel. im not totally sure, but i think.

Yeah, I've looked at that amp at my friends shop, and it's definitely a sweet amp, but I'd recommend you try to get a 1500 as soon as you can afford it, you'll prolly need the power to keep up with what you're gonna see at the shows!

The Memphis Belle is just a 4 channel amp and a 1000d in one case. The 4 channel part is a 75 x 4 so you won't really want to use that for your subs. Like Ian said, use the 4 channel for your highs and use the 1000d for your subs. In Street 1-2 rules, you are allowed an amp for your highs and an amp for your subs. This amp is ok to use for that class.
