Hi last night 170.0db was hit in the UK Finals. Problem...the screen turned RED so they hit this above 80hz. As it was the finals and not a triple pointer etc, etc. Should this stand, or should they be DQ'd???
Clarification is needed!

I believe the UK DB Drag people setup the meter for this event with the filter set at 80Hz, where they had been set at 100Hz for all other events. They seemed to think since this was the finals that the event was the same as a multipoint event, but after they checked the rules, they set the filter back to 100Hz to be the same as all previous non-mulit point events, therefore allowing the slightly higher frequecy vehicles to score as they had previously done. This seems legal when reading through the 2001 rules, as it does specify 80Hz for Multi point events, but not for others. JMO
