Just wondering if anybody had any problems with the way shows have been running throughout Kansas and Kansas City area...other than points not being turned in quick enough. Honest answers would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know which shows you have had problems with and what the problems were! Thanks, guys! Oh yeah, let me know what's good, too!

Well....Points would be the biggest issue. But they are getting lots better.Only missing 8pts now The only real gripe is about the Junction City cancellations and the St Joe show sounded like a bad one. They seem to be ran fair and to the most part to the rules. They all use cone classes which is good. Most of the mics are fairly accurate...some read a little high but that is good! Most competitors are cool to!Through DB DRAG I have met lots of people and alot I consider friends.Very cool...to have everyone watch out for everyone else! All judges have been excellent and generally nice people who know what they are doing. Not many are disorganized either. Can't think of 1 show that when it was over I regretted going to.And that sounds like it is saying a lot compared to the horror stories I have heard elsewhere.I think Kent,Kenny,Tonya,Shawn,Karen,Jason...and you, deserve lots of credit!!!!!We ARE SO LUCKY!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Mega for your support! It means a lot. I'm especially looking for input on this one from people that I haven't heard from before......anybody else have anything to say about the shows? What can be done to improve local shows?

I have had nothng but good times at the shows. they have ran smooth and so far not a single complant. I like the HB Stereo show when at the end of the show there was an Outlaw event, this would be nice to have at some of the shows, even if it was just for fun and no trophies, just leave it to braging right. The only thing that I can complain about and it was not anyone's fault but the store own's is when I drive almost two hours for a show and it was called off. Then the owner got very rude about things. That was dissapointing since I was out money on a rental truck for the show. But over all great nothing the say but good words.

PS keep up the hard work.

Thanks for the input S-10. About the outlaw event....what do you think about giving out trophies for it as well? At some shops it is not possible because of time and/or the shop doesn't want it but at others there's no reason not to do it, right? Let me know what you guys think about trophies. (It was a very nice message S-10, but did you have to post it 3 times? )

I live in missouri but i wouldnt know about how the shows run cause i dont competein db drags ..cause i am a pro and pro classes go by watage not cone area which i think i BS. I mean you devided the consumer classes by cone area but not pro WHY???. What do ppl think just cause your a pro your rich or that companys just give away product to you cause you want to do spl i wish it was like that but its not. I am a pro but the shop i work at dosnt sell the the product i am running so i had to pay close to FULL retail for my product just like a consumer but yet i am a pro. This is my bi#$h becaue in my car i am only running one woofer and a 100watt HC amp. this set up in m daily driver does 150+ outlaw and high 140's legal at the dash db drag style but this isnt crap when i get shoved ina class thats 0-5000watts and unlimited amt of woofers ( ie..Danny Brittian, Team Pure Sound, team Epicenter...to name a few). So as far as im concerned i wont ever be a db drag competetor untill the pro ratings get changed to be more realistic. I am sorry this is off topic a little but i live in missoui and i am a major usac competitor and usac judge so i get around and this is a veiw from many many pro ppl this is why usac outlaw is so very popular ...sorry db drag ppl this is my opinon and is going to stir trouble ...so i am saying sorry a head of time

Well, I asked Wayne the same question on chat a while back because I share your concerns myself. By the time I get into a position where I can compete, I may have to be a pro too, and that means $$$$$. I like the idea of the challenge of trying to do more SPL with less subs, but Wayne doesn't seem to agree with that. He said he wanted all of the pro vehicles to be walled. "Monsters" as he put it. And I understand that, because it does make more of a spectacle and awesome display for the spectators. But you have a point, a pro that doesn't have some kind of great sponsorship or money growing out of their *** is pretty much screwed if they hope to win at National level events... I apologize if I offended anyone- JMHO,

Umm thas a pretty simple question. Once a person gets above 9 subs then they usually dont stop, some have 30 subs some have 20 subs some have 24. Plain and simple if the classes continued from 9-11, 12-14 ect.. ect.. there would be no one in your class!

ohhh ok i think hang on i thought the amature classes were 1-2 woofers,3-4woofers,5-6woofers,7-8woofers, and then 9+woofers hen devided by power classe? if so then i would be in the 12woofer class...this is how the pro class should be also...this would make it wore fair for pros with non-walled cars that want to compete in db drag it would also draw more pro competitors who have real world budgets and daily drivers ..there wuld still be the 9+ woofer cars doing big numv=bers ..but wait last time i checed both danny britian and team pure sound had cars with 5-6 woofers doing 160's so how can whayne saty that this type os pro classfication wouldnt work? jessus i guess ill build db drag car with 2-12"s and do 180 like jay lovlace and john henery did ...cause hats the only way ill win on a real world budget

When going to a Loud and Clear event, the
trick is to put the gun somewhere the
judge wont find it.
The area isn't REAL bad but stay careful.

Maybe put the gun in a fancy install and display it and get bonus points for security display or something?

I was going to laugh...but...
I actually thought about doing a motorized
gun holster in the center console and of
course demo it without a firearm there.
Yep, even point out the big dent in the door
and talk about the window being shot out too
when they tried to car-jack my ride.
Bastard shot at my head but it was a 22 short,
I believe, and it deflected up when it shattered
the glass.
hehe
