Of all of the BIG shows I have been to I have always called the Tourism and Visitors beauro to get the low down on the area I was going to. In EVERY case I was told that the beauro had no information about the show. Why is this?? These people can be VERY helpful in regards to your bringing a ton of people to their city. Most have thier own web site, and or will be glad to send FREE information about their town to ANYONE who asks. They can also be instrimental in setting up host hotels and finding restarant specials for large groups. And If given enough time they can get your event onto their schedule of events that is included with the information packages. (Free advertisement!)

You might want to mention this to your show promotors and your hosting dealers. It couldn't hurt!!
