Does the battery in the stock location in Street class have to be the same physical size or can it just fit in the same place? Suppose I have a Street car that has the extra room in the stock location for a Stinger 1700?

Legal or not?

It must be legal. The Street 1-2 world record holder CRX from AudioNXS has a huge Stinger battery in the stock location.
