4) were they at CES? i looked every where and didnt see them i saw alot of off shore companies there( this one question is for Tony aka Lep) and if they were are they under a different name?? like Bumper? hehe anyone see bumper there hehehhehehhe
5) are there other stores in the US selling Treo that we(the people on the forum) can contact?
6) i have called that 800 number a few times and left a few msgs. and i have not heard from them what so ever i even told them that the shop here in CA might wanna pick them up.
7)

David, I will answer your questions but against my better judgement. Nothing against you, just have some bad feelings towards some of the people out here now. In fact, I have just about lost all enthusiasm to even answer, even though this has been quite funny at times. People complain that Metro is so secretive, yet they beat up whoever speaks. Once again, very ironic. Anyways...
1), 3), and 6) TREO does not have a direct line to their company that is available to the public YET. Greg Pauley owns and operates a side business called Metro Sales and Marketing which is located... where do you ask.... 4917 F street. That's right. The same address as Metro Audio Dynamics. Greg handles distribution of brands such as TREO, Kronik, MMATS, Powersafe Batteries, and a couple others that I can't think of right now. I knew this was going on. What I didn't know was in Greg's agreement with TREO, he receives a bonus income to field all tech questions and to handle dealer inquiries until TREO gets on their feet(that is why the # goes to that address). They are small as far as size of crew, but growing. So that will probably help put together alot of what people chose to assume. Any questions about TREO products, leave a message on the 800 #. Greg is making more of an effort now to get calls returned.
2) I am not sure what the direct address is at this very moment. Either call the 800# and have Greg call you or I will find out today and reply back here tonight.
4) They were at CES but not at "CES". They stayed at some hotel and only met with a couple of dealers. They are not ready to go "bigtime" just yet.
5) I know they signed on a couple of dealers. Not sure who. Talk to Greg on that one.
7) Brokin' Down...
8) I know you didn't ask, but one of the things I found out in my "meeting" with John is he does R&D for a few companies. Some of which by agreement he can't say. This is something I was not aware of. I do not get mad about it. If John has a little side business as well, then GREAT!
I have to admit, after the display attitudes this time around, I am contemplating not posting here anymore. I have lost alot of respect towards others as they are quick to shoot a man down without knowing what is even going on. I dealt with it when I first came out here, but for it to happen again proves to me that some people just don't like us. Even though they have NO IDEA what kind of a person I am. I don't consider myself a P&R person. What I do consider myself is an average joe with a job, that chose to participate in what I thought was a civilized forum. And Wayne, I am a bit surprised that you were not more involved in calming people down. You always make an effort to do that any other time. Interesting. Especially considering the fact that one of your own Moderators was being called a liar and getting attacked. Not crying, just an observation. Well, I'll get the address and come back on tonight with it. Hope I have helped. The Griz has spoken... but maybe not for much longer.

Griz, I seldom post, but rarely miss a day of reading the post. I, like you, think that a lot of people really rushed judgement on you as a person, questioning your integrity and such. Especially as it turns out now that you had no knowledge of the actual situation.
However, in their defense, there are plenty of people that are suspicious of MAD. Not agreeing, just stating a fact. When I read the posts by Mack about the 800#, even you have to admit, something souded a little fishy. To top it off, there was not response from you or anyone else from MAD for quite some time. People overreacted for sure, but that is human nature. There are a lot of jerks out there
In summary, I hope you can brush it off and continue you invaluable services one of the forum gurus. I have found you very willing to help even when there is no financial benefit to you or MAD. Keep up the good work!
Oh, yeah, and I totally agree with you about Wayne. He is a strange duck. He is SOOO busy all of the time, and can't find a few minutes to calm down the forum, or even work on classes, or participate in discussion about SS or Mod changes we've proposed, but jumps in on the piddly little **** that nobody really cares about or effects like .005% of competitors. Very strange indeed.

Mack, Will you please just shut the hell up? Why do you have your wanker in a bunch about this? You need to get off the Griz' nuts and worry about your own life. Everyone is sick of hearing your accusations. The fact is>>>>>TREO IS A REAL COMPANY.....Just because you are a hater and don't want to believe it you have to trash MAD.....Fact is you are wrong man, and everyone on this side is laughing their asses off at you. You are making such a fool of yourself. Before you continue to put your foot in your mouth, please stop talking. With every comment you make you look like a bigger ass...... Tony Jordan

I thought you guys at MAD stayed up all night making woofers and finding new ways to cheat? (OK maybe a little much given the situation) Sorry, I hadn't checked the forum for a couple of days and there were already like 40 or 50 posts so I assumed it had been several days... I'll check the timestamps next time People can be quick to react when there is alleged wrongdoing, hehe note ALLEGED.
Again, I can understand everyone's questioning Mr. Obara, but jumping straight to calling him a liar and his word being no good is kind of a quick reaction, especially from those that don't know him (I don't and I gave him the benefit of the doubt). How many time must it be said on this forum...
EVERYBODY FREAKING CHILL OUT!!!!!
Oh yeah, and Mack... Let me be the 100th person on the forum to tell you to SHUT THE **** UP!!!! Get a ****ing life dude. I appreciate your research in bringing the question up for discussion, but I question your methods and motives. And when will you let it die? Griz made some statements that were not true simply because he was uninformed and it wasn't his fault. If they are making woofers, who cares? That wasn't what people were concerned about. It was the spread of faulty information. Now that issue has been cleared, who cares anymore. I don't want Griz to quit the forum, so shut up and let him be!

I would like to see all this nonsense about TREO and MAD put to rest permanently. It has really begun to get under my skin. Let them build they're woofers, if that's what they're doing, that dont confront me none, and it shouldn't. I respectfully request all the mad/treo posts STOP!

I hear that. If they make them great. After talking to tony and looking at everything I dont personally see how they themselves can. Do they have more to do with treo then what they say? Who knows. Also BFD if they do. Let it die. Remember Innocent till Proven Guilty?

Sorry I have not been aroung for a while and am a little behind. The whole new buisness thing has me running. Anyway what is the number for Treo? And is there a pic available of this driver? I assume someone has developed a sub that is just for SPL right? Griz if you could just re-cap some highlights of the driver for me that would be great.

The # is 800 530 5925. That is for dealer inqirees. They make 4 levels of woofers, 2 for street use and 2 specifically for SPL competition. The Griz has spoken.
