Does Wayne REQUIRE each and every judge for certified shows to sign or take an oath that he/she will NOT give out the details and or system designs of cars that they judge to other competitors or divulge the information in any other form?
I have heard rumors that a few designs have been "forwarded" through a process such as this.
Just curious.

No offense intended. I think most of the judges know me well enough that if I intedned to accuse them, I would just have stated that.
The reason I ask is because I heard the same thing being brought up on two separate occassions at finals.
It is also something I've wondered about for a couple years now.
Thanks for your reply Steve. Is that your policy or the associations or both?

I hope its both. I will admit I have a hard time keeping secrets. I knew the design of Superior Sounds all year. As well as Terry Brocks Mighty Max, Team Sweep's box design, Eric Coulter's box, Michael Hughes interior he never did and others.
If something is questionable judges do share that info with eachother.

I don't have time to pay attention to your design in the lanes, at least not enough to commit it to memory. I believe all of the 3X US Judges are ethical.
PS. I saw Superiors design in June or July...

I stated rumors because that's all they were. I'm not trying to hide or assume anything here.
We have rules for just about everything and I thought that this should be brought up for discussion.

Read the Creed. End of discussion.
Sorry Bobby, reading those would only lead me back to where I began with this.....

If all parties involved would abide by the Creed, then we wouldn't need to have these kinds of discussions. Too bad we don't live in a perfect world.
With that I definetely agree!
I was never aware if the association / judges believed it to be unethical to discuss anothers' system. Thus I asked.

It would be a good idea to introduce an oath for judges around the world - although all my guys do it for love of the sport I still shudder to think that there are so many people in the world with hidden agendas. Very good point thanks for bringing it up.
