After learning about how to tow a vehicle the hard way, i am curious if, in the super street division, batteries can be placed anywhere underneath the car to ensure an even load distribution? I can see no obvious advantages aside from how much u can fit. So in the spirit of safty, shouldnt one be able to evenly distribute your batteries to make your vehicle safer to tow?

i know there are to be no modifications to the vechile in the front of the "B" pillar, but in the spirit of safty, im curious if there is a rule about where NOT to put batteries? this isnt ment to gain any particular advantage, but it is ment even up the load, for safer towing. Anyone know any rules having to do with this? and is it official?

In super street you can do anything to the undercarraige as long as it is behind the b pillar and within the external skin of the vehicle. So as long as you stay behind that plane you can do whatever you want.

What about in street class are you allowed to mount a battery undernieth the car? Like if you have it in a welded cage that is safely mounted and bolted down to where the battery does not even move at all?

Thanks

Street Division - no.

As Scottie said in Super Street you can do anything behind the B pillar, including battery boxes
