I just wanted to take an informal count of how many people would like to see the Street MAX clas with a wall or without a wall. Please post just with:

Wall

No-Wall (no cutthroughs either)

Thank you.

Moderators -- please delete any posts that do not contain the appropriate answers. I would do this as a poll, but they are not available in this section.

Wall

I feel a street max no wall would be just another class ruled by CRX. Without a wall you just cannot make a cab small enough to compete with a crx.

Will everyone posting please post what class you have competed in and what class you plan on competing in this year. (I am just curious)

I would like to see it all no wall with no cut-throughs....but I think it would be best with with a street max wall class and a street max no wall class as well.

I am competing in either Sreet A,B or c this year

Wall

There needs to be a class that allows for a wall that doesn't require the power and modifications of super street. The class is perfect as it is.

You can wall off a vehicle, slide a box forward, do a partial wall without worrying about the window line, or you name it. The possibilities are endless. But it is being kept to power restrictions that are in line with the street class. If not, it's just another normal street class where you can slide the box forward in a hatchback or sedan. That means you can build some pretty darn big enclosures in many vehicles. How is that any different then a guy with an old Nissan Hard body extended cab? It's not like you can fit that large of an enclosure in that little truck unless it is walled off. This class offers a lot of diversity and will be good for the sport.

NW (No Cut-throughs) But this class has alot of other problems in it, that will keep street veterans in street.

No Walls..........No cuthroughs in SMA allow them in SMB

N.W. No cutthroughs it's a CRX class.......Cut throughs make it a truck class.......Street is already full of CRXs.

I see the point behind no walls though.......it would move veteran street people into this class.......NO WALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I vote to leave Street Max Alone, it is perfect as it is. I believe that the Wayne and all the people who made these rules put more time and effort into considering the ramifications of these decisions then you could possibly imagine and in my opinion it could not have been done better. It leaves a lot of room for creativity with the installs and the vehicle choices themselves. It's going to be a lot of fun.
