Lets see....I have been reading the rules discussion the past few days and all I am seeing is people complaining about "their louder than me so lets change the rules" [Roll Eyes] . I believe that if we actually want Db Drag to go the way it should, then we the competitors are going to have to make some sacrifices. Sure we have tons of big name competitors, but what happens to this sport/industry when these competitors start dropping out because of families and pure boredom of always winning? That will be when the "noobs" as all of you call them have to step up and replace them.

For street class we need to put the move up rule back into place, people say we need new faces in dbdrag, so lets let em in. People that have cars built to play 1 note for 2 seconds is somewhat impressive....in super street and extreme, i like seeing cars in street class that are able to do amazing numbers and also street beat. If we don't put the move up rule back into place it'll be the same people at finals every year in street, while they are getting louder and getting more secretive, the new comers to dbdrag racing are getting more agitated and pushed away "by that guy that wouldn't even tell me what he had". At finals last year I almost had my head slammed in a door because I was looking at a guys HU, and he thought i was trying to steal his box design. But since I know people will complain about the move up rule....why not have a 10 second enduro in street, time is averaged over that 10 second time period, allow cars to be on and allow beefed up alternators, but keep amp limits in place.

What I think we are going to have to do, is break some of these classes down far enough so that people that go to a shop and get a street beater installed, have a place to play. I recommend this.... Have 2 street classes as street A and B. But instaed of trying to limit weight or physical size on amps, limit the msrp or set a inline fuse limit. Both are somewhat easy to officiate and an msrp limit of 1500$ for example would be alot more fair to someone running 4 bmf 1000ds against 2 4kws in street b. other than that I believe street rules are fine.

For super street classes, since there were only a handful of people in ss 5-8 and 9+, lets combine those and make a more competitive class. There has been a ton of anticipation on a ss1 class so that people from slap, meca, and iasca will have a chance to compete in the best orginization the world, so lets make that happen. I have seen alot of systems in SUVs running more than 2 subs,so why no ss nw unlimited, that way the kids with 4 15s in their SUV can compete without going against 4 15s walled. for the SS classes I would like to see

ss nw
ss 1
ss 2
ss 3-5
ss 6+

I also believe that the ENTIRE vehicle of a ss competitor should remain 100% stock except for trucks with walkthroughs. People cutting out the bottom side of their vehicle seems extreme to me, 16 volt should be allowed, other than that ss is fine to me. These rules i think make it more fair to alot of people, and that way Alan and Bobby get to go up against people just as loud =)

As for extreme, extreme is....extreme. I believe everything should be allowed here and i personally like the way the 2003 rules pertained to extreme, I also think that quads should be allowed in extreme. People at all the local shows gather around an extreme van to see it play, they don't care that someone has 2 12s and 2 amps doing a 152 they wanna see the big numbers, and I believe that taking away quads in extreme is hurting the sport rather than promoting it, if they wanna use duals let em, but most of the competitors (notice most)in extreme are sponsered, so quads coils and more amps wouldn't that be hard to achieve.

These are just some thoughts from a nobody and you don't have to take them serious, but until everyone starts uncovering their cars, and teaching all these "noobs" how to have a chance in db drag...until everyone stops whining because their not as loud as the next guy....until people stop bending rules...and until everyone learns to have fun, and not take it so serious, db drag will be going downhill fast.

If any of my thoughts here seem a little weird or out of the ordinary, its because its 3 am.
