OH yeah, last time i read the rules and every year i can remember 18 volts has been the limit NOT 16.
YEAH THIS IS MY VOICE ,MY OPINION!! IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, I DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!
man, if i was half as passionate about this issue as you are against it, i might acually get somewhere. danny, i have alot of respect for you being an old veteran at this sport. i would like to keep it that way. i never had a problem with the voltage limit. but if we get there, let's do it with altenators. i appreciate you speaking your mind on the matter.
jarfunkz, if i wanted everyone in nw to conform to my standards, then everyone would have to see how loud they can get running sealed box, 12vdc, one alt, 6 batteries, and below poverty income. fortunatly for everyone, such is not the case. i do not know why you have it in your head that i am trying to conform any class to my own standards for some type of personal gain. perhaps you can quote me on the passage where you felt i suggested such. in the mean time, know this. any suggestion i have made is in my opinion for the betterment of dbdragracing as a whole. not for gene alexander, and not for jared. if i am soo wrong, then why do you guys feel soo strongly against what i say? if i am wrong, then dismiss me as an idiot and ignore my posts like you do to all the newbies. if there is nothing wrong with 16volt setups, then open it up to street aswell. until then, rest assured that even wayne knows it's not right.
IMO what you do in a sealed box is incredible. What I would like to see is S and SS be 12-14 Volts and EX be up to 18 volts
