When I posted about it a while back all i got was,, well whining but we wont get into that. I know alot of people here too including Xiphoid, that would be very interested in competing in it, if it were a class. Also a much more affordable way for people to get into superstreet

Well David you know my reply. I think that any new ss class would be well recieved and loved by any and all competitors. We all know that the ss classes are some the funnest and most competitive.I vote yes for this one.

I think Superstreet 1 would be a great idea! Further eliminate quad coils from SS classes to bring in more competitors. 4 amps vs. 8 is alot easier to manage.

I really like this too....problem is....thn instead of buying 8 amps for 3-500 dollars each....you would be buying 4 amps at about 2-3000$ each.....it would turn into street, where everyone runs HUGE amps...not a huge quanity of smaller ones....

There are plenty of cost effective amps that can keep up especially with the car running at 18v. I would have no problem running 4 bd 1501's against Zapco 9.0's @ 18volts!

that would be nice to see, and there would be no reason for any whining about it because superior sound already proved that you do not need many subs to be competitive in extreme. Loudest car in the world with one sub

I am also for the SS1 class, it would make it possbible for people who wants to step up from Street to run in SS without it costing a fortune, it will probably be cheaper than a competitive Street B system...

I think prohibiting quads would be more cost effective for some but I don't think it would make much of a difference. People would just buy bigger amps. Plus I want to run a quad so I dont want to see it prohibited. Either way though I would still run this class even if I couldn't use a quad.

I also LIKE the idea of a SS1 class, we already something like a discussion about it last year, but I was thrown away towards an Extreme 1 class.
After the scores and the amount of competitors show THERE IS a "trend" to go to smaller classes.
You don't have to make an "equipment war" to be the loudest, the effective of the box itself is much more important than it ever was!
Let's open more classes for competitors with less equipment, that "opens" the SS-classes for "entry-SS-competitors"...
SS1 - great idea!

Would you have a problem with losing to the person who had 4 9.0's because they had more power than you?

There needs to be Super Street 1 NW in addition to Super Street 1. A single sub class in Super Street is an AWESOME idea If it's not offered in NW as well, I don't think SS1 should be offered. Also, to make it interesting, since it seems most of you don't want to see frequency limit's changed, limit the frequency range in SS1 NW to 20-45hz. Just my opinion.
