Base mostly upon the economics of it all:

3-4 Street Classes
A & B like last year with a more entry level class, with limits to be determined

4 SS Classes
NW,1-2,3-4,5+

3-4 Extreme Classes
1-2, 3-4, 5+ or
1, 2-3, 4-5, 6+

What do mean economics? [Confused]

Class Proposal:
Street:
Street 1: One 10” or 12”; One battery; one mono amp by size (like anyone’s 1000d)
Street A & B: Just like 2003 but let the cars run and have upgraded alternator.
Super Street: just fine-tune rules
SS1-2nw:
SS 1
SS 2-4
SS 5+
Extreme: just fine-tune rules
Ext 1
Ext 2-4
Ext 5+

I agree that there shuld be more street classes, but the classifications should be based on more accurate cone area groupings.

I.E.

Street 1 - 1 12", 2 10", or 3 8"
Street 2 - 2 12", 3 10", or 5 8"
etc....

This would be great for many people who compete in other arganizations as well (SLAP, IASCA).

Let's work on how many of each class first. Then we can decide on how to break each up.

More opinions?

I think
Novice Street A: limit by amp size: 2 10's 1 12.
Novice Street B: Limit by amp size as above but x2.
4 10's 2 12's 1 15.

Street A and B Pro...Same as this year.

To better understand the amount of classes needed, we need to take a look at the top 15 competitors who got invited to this years finals. You will see that some classes were not even filled(15 competitors).

My thoughts for extreme:
X 1-2
X 3-4
X 5-6
X 7+

as in my post...

S1, 2-8, 1-10, 1-12
S2, 4-8, 2-10, 2-12, 1-15
S3, 6-8, 4-10, 4-12, 2-15, 1-18
.......................................
S1, 2 channels .. one battery
S2, 2 channels .. one battery
S3, 4 channels .. 2 batteries
.......................................
"Street Unlimited", same cone restrictions as in S3, but unlimited amps, 2 batteries, and box can go any where behind B piller and below windows, AS LONG AS it can be put back into the "cargo" area with out moving it outside. ***edit*** And, it MUST pass regular street rules in BOTH positions....compition AND cargo.

.......................................

SS NW
SS 1
SS 2
SS 3-4
SS 5+

a few tweeks of what is considered the SKIN of a vehicle, and the requierments on what can and can not be cut, for enclosure and or battery trays.

......................................

X 1-2
X 3-4
X 5+

with a few tweeks on there interiors / dashes as well
