so why is adding a clamp behind the door jamb not legal???
I see why you say its touching the door but if the clamp is touching behind the door jamb then it would pass the string test and be legal.
Since Clamps are used in Extreme and behind the door jamb is extreme then the clamps if they pass the string test would be legal.
If the clamps comes in contact with any part of the door, it becomes part of the door. The extreme vehicles are able to use the clamps, since they are allowed to make modifications in front of the door jamb.

Super Street cars are meant to be standard forward of the B pillar, and look standard over-all.
Normal cars do not have external clamps holding the days closed!
Clamps are temporary; if the doors were permanently clamped closed they wouldn't be able to open. The rules expressly prohibit clapping doors in SS.

I understand your reasoning but doesn't the floor behind the door jamb touch the floor infront of the door jamb but thats allowed to be cut??
also if the clamp or bolt being used doesn't extend past the string test area then why does it matter where it touches ??
Iam not in SS just being devils advocate
