Please post what do you think it is unclear in rules, and lets make this sport even better.

And please don't fight what did what in 2003 and previous years. Lets make 2004 rules ASAP and best ever.

IMO:

Exact definition of 1 nonbridged amp in S

What is commercially available

Jumpseats in Pickups can be folded flat to accomodate your enclosure But rear seats in vans that fold down flat are not allowed to.

You can read more about it HERE

I am sorry that I started with question about nonbridgable chanels [Embarrassed] it is very clear in rules

quote:
Street A – A maximum of 2 subwoofer amplifiers may be used. Total subwoofer amplification is limited to a maximum of 4 “non-bridged” output channels or 2 “bridged” output channels. (Please see the definitions section for more detail regarding bridging.)

quote:
Bridged – The dBDRA defines bridging as the process of combining multiple amplifier output channels together in an effort to produce more power. Existing amplifiers use a variety of methods to achieve a bridged output. Some amplifiers have integrated bridging circuitry that allows the user to bridge the amp at his or her discretion by moving a switch or using certain inputs on the amp. Other amplifiers require the use of external signal processing circuitry in order to provide a bridged output. Some amps are even bridged in a permanent fashion and may not be bridged further by the end user. The dBDRA uses the “true” number of bridged channels in a system to determine eligibility for competition in the Street Division of competition. The dBDRA reserves the right to re-rate amplifier output channel capability to ensure compliance with the output channel limitations imposed in the Street Division.
but I would like to see clear definition of what is commercially available, becasue I might plan to '''manufacture'' amplifiers.

I Agree Peter,
I would rather like to smooth out rules than rewrite the book, its very frustrating for the judges every year we have new divisions. [Big Grin]

One of the major gray areas of the rulebook is the seating area and seating area space in extreme vehicles.
I hope this issue is resolved quickly so I can start building! [Big Grin]

i agree with HEAVY METAL about the Extreme class cabin seating, since some of the efforts this year, like the the Team that you had to be a contorsionist to fit into the cabin, i know it was with in the rules but you couldn't drive around like that. I know it's an Extreme vehicle but there needs to some normallity

Can we drop off the rule about sponsored vehicles in S class?

I know that intent is good, but who can control that? Did anybody checked invoices lately?

Lets ged rid of the rules that we can't enforce, and we all know that top competitors are getting support in many ways.
