We all know that building and maintaining a extreme vehicle is a big money investment, let alone getting it to shows. I ask that instead of the current points system installed now for extreme competitors to make it to finals that we make changes to ease the burdon off of them. Now instead of saying that an extreme competitor must get 100 points, make it where they only have to attend 3 to 5 triple point events. Like say SBN, Nopi, Audio Thunder, etc.. This way local show promoters don't have to go about explaining to the new guys that they don't have to compete against the vehicle that looks like a tank, and those vehicles arent there scaring away possible new guys who think they might have to go against one of them. This also opens it up for promoters to offer more mini street type classes with the money they save from the cash prize for the extreme class or tropheys.

Now we know that the number of classes will be smaller this year, and I know alot don't like this but I purpose that extreme be cut to 2 classes, 1-4, 5+. Now before you send out the lench mob, what this opens up is that Wayne can invite 32 (or whatever number he deems worthy) per class, and if you look there were only 64 extreme competitors in the US total last year. Now what this does is make it where more lower classes can be made and we still keep all the extreme vehicles at finals.

I think its expensive to go to shows also and i think its farther for me to go to multi-point events then going to a show 5 miles from my house. I think that if someone wants to comment about the cost of transporting extreme cars to shows then we should hear from people that went to shows this year. I went to 7 shows that i didn't compete in just to help tune cars. Should this count towards my points for finals?

I would also like to see smitty compete in one of the classes he proposed for next year. I haven't seen one time when new people ever thought they would have to compete against an extreme car. I think that seeing extreme cars at a show would actually bring people into the sport if the extreme competitor would let the newcommers see their work.
