i agree with most of what you say mike, except no pro street, give a NW unlimited class(yes i want that class, not for me i do not benefit from it) and another extreme class, drop ex1, go for ex 9+.

music should definitely be played in a enduro format, jusge chooses the song played.

i think sweeps would be best also...mike hit on almost everything i have posted in the past....but the car needs to still be off in all street classes...

the whole purpose of playing music, is to eliminate the note tuners. sine sweeps would be pretty close to the same category. don't think with the lower scores, think about the competition and the possibly edition of new competitors.

Sounds good Mike, but also we need to limit the lower street classes more than this year's rules. The "fun" classes sound good, but given the small number of extreme/high SS competitors as it is (only 75 competitors above SS1-2) why do they need more classes, and how much interest would there be in those classes. The only way that we would get people involved in those would be to offer and outstanding prize at finals for the winners. That will require major manufacturer and sponsor support that is currently lacking in dBDrag.

The problem is, how do you classify music? I could have one of my producing friends make me a track that's nothing but a 44 hz tone (peak freq) with some drums and stuff overlayed.

Can someone tell me the benifit of a superstreet 1 class? I just do not understand the logic in making more superstreet classes. I think that you will see the same cost involved in ss1 as ss1-2 people will just have to recone more often and replace amps more often. You will see a quad coil in ss 1 with 4 amps strapped together iper coil nstead of a pair of quads with 2 amps per coil
