But since wayne doe not want more than the current 12 classes you would need to eliminate a class to add that one....

perhaps in order to limit the number of class, SS1-2 NW could be combined with SS-1/2 Wall.

So SS classes could be something like

SS 1 wall/no wall
SS 2 wall/no wall
SS 3/4
SS 5/8
SS 9+

interesting....well right now we have

ssnw - 121 competitors
ss 1-2 - 113 competitors
ss 3-4 - 85 competitors
ss 5-8 - 47 competitors
ss 9+ - 29 competitors

I would say it would be more bennifitial for DB Drag as a whole to add SS1 and combind 5-8 with 9+....if that was done you can figure alot of if not about 1/4 to 1/3 of the current competirors in ssnw & 1-2 would move into the new 1 sub class since quite a few already run on sub.....that would make the SS class competiror breakdown more ever....

ssnw - 86 competitors -- 35 move to ss1
ss 1 - 70 competitors est
ss 2 - 78 competitors -- 35 move to ss1
ss 3-4 - 85 competitors
ss 5+ - 76 competitors --5-8 combind with 9+

That looks a bit better.....

I don't mind the combination of 5-8 and 9+, but I think we might want to re-consider the class breakdown if we do this. I'm not really sure what it would be, but 5+ is such a broad category.

SS 1 is a good idea. The majority of the competitors out there (above street) are in the SS 1-2 and 1-2 NW class. We should expand those classes as there are numerous competitors in the world in those classes. EX 1 was a good idea as it catered to one of the largest extreme classes (EX1-2) and allowed more people to enter into extreme. A SS 1 class would allow more people to enter into the SS classes with a lower expense in equipment (Batteries, amps, etc) and would be good for the growth of dBDrag. Also given the popularity of the NW class, if there is an additional spot for another class, a SS 1 NW class would be nice. Maybe the SS 1 class should be NW first, and wall second. Most vehicles that have walls have more than one woofer in them, however several no wall vehicles have difficulty getting two woofers to fit below the no wall line. I think we should go for SS 1 NW first, and SS 1 second.
