well wayne says there will not be any watt category for street, yet that is the only way it can be delt with. i know the watt system has been done away with for about 4-5 years now, but it seems that is the best way to handle street if there is one. if you reply to my post realize that i said have a ministreet class, but everyone must have missed that. street is still a burden on dbdrag. fix it or dismiss it.

dBDRA 2004 Rules Discussion

Well, first we need find the problem, and then work to fix it… hence the “Rules Discussion”. This is just a growing pain… and happens any time something leave “Grassroots” level and is forced to be political because it is now world wide… Patience Grasshopper…

If the whole topic doesn’t sit well with you, don’t click on threads involving street issues…

I don’t feel like a burden… especially when I pay the same entry fee as you…

Jared is only saying what he does about Street, based on the fact he would get SMOKED by me, you and just about everybody else! He could not build a system for himself and win if his life depended on it, in STREET . I know, I have seen him compete, many a time.

He has a habit of always entering into a discussion that neither pertains to him or asks for his insight. He thinks his 2 cents are that, worth 2 cents. In fact, it is worth less than a peso [Big Grin] .

Sorry Jared, but you once too many times have stated your worthless opinions about STREET . You know nothing about STREET and never will. STREET DOES bring in the most competitors in any show I have been to, and is going to stay in DbDrag.

Maybe you should, for the future, stay out of it. STREET ! [Big Grin]
Can you Jared, be decent and stay out of all discussions about STREET in the future!
Please.

Go do CPR or something, or whatever a EMT does. [Razz]

This took me ALL F'n day to type w/ my "typing" finger, so DO NOT make write any more to you JARED about STREET!Please! [Eek!]

Relax guys, it's just a suggestion. You don't need to crucify the guy, lol. It's an interesting suggestion. I feel that the Street classes should stay. I think that just because you can't go to finals, and aren't "serious" should still have a place in REAL db Drag racing. I do agree with the whole notion of getting more people involved, it's a good thing for everybody.

I would say your idea proposes a more elitist attitude in db Drag(you just have a different view on the direction dB Drag should go, and that's not inherently wrong)

A diverse set of opinions and ideas is a good thing to have. This is a discussion about potential rule changes, and even if the majority disagree, it's still worthwhile input. I support your input, and look forward to any other ideas you, or anyone else has [Smile]

Oh, don’t get us wrong… If we were really mad, we would just drive to his house… Jared is just a local competitor that we know well… So because he is no stranger… we are freely busting his b@lls.

Jared is a good guy, just like giving him a hard time.
